Handymen set to be sold by John Lewis
It has always been a challenge to be able to find the right people to do work that needs to be done around your home. If you are one of the many people who has struggled with this in the past then you may be interested in the latest provision by John Lewis, which is a service that provides you with people to do work around your home, such as plumbers and builders.
The service has been tested out over the summer in Milton Keynes, and after a successful trial there are now six other areas that are set to join the service that allows customers to book tradespeople to come and complete work within their home.
Customers will now be able to use the website, phone line or app to book someone to attend their property, and it is thought that the types of people who are available through this app are likely to increase as time goes by. John Lewis are determined to make sure that they can provide the best possible service for the customers who use their services, and with this being the case they will do rigorous checks on all who work for them and provide services to customers.
They will take a look at references for the professionals, and will also ask for evidence about the types of work that they have done for other clients in the past. This will include visiting properties that they have worked on, to make sure that all work is up to the highest standards. Any work that is done under this scheme will be given a one year guarantee, which will be honoured by John Lewis themselves.
The scheme is a way to help encourage customers to use John Lewis as a company more, and it comes in response to more people choosing to buy things online and from cheaper retailers rather than visiting physical stores. This is likely to help John Lewis to reclaim their place in the industry.
