Register with Extraman
At Extraman we are always looking for new people to join our organisation. It is an advantage if you have any existing skill or experience in the industrial warehouse, construction or events fields, but it is not essential.
Extraman is a Best Practice agency, committed to ensuring that everyone who works for us is treated fairly and honestly. We make everyone aware of their entitlements and ensure that they receive them. Furthermore, we make no deductions from payroll, other than those demanded by law. Please read the "Our Ethics" tab on this website for a full explanation of how we run our business, which differs greatly from many of our competitors. In particular, we explain how all those who work for us receive 100% of their holiday pay entitlement, something which is rare, if not unique, in the recruitment world.
All candidates must have a good command of English, the right to work in the UK and have a pro-active attitude. We are always open and honest about job prospects and we expect our candidates to be honest with us, and to be hard working and reliable once work is offered.
If you are interested in joining Extraman, then please contact the Extraman office where our consultants will arrange a date and a time for you to visit for a face to face interview that will assess your availability and suitability for the work we offer.
You will be required to bring either your UK passport and/or Birth Certificate, a Right to Work stamp in non British passports, or alternatively you must provide a share code. We also require your National Insurance Number and Bank Account Details. If you do not have access to a bank account Extraman may be able to help with opening a bank account as well.
Extraman engages all staff under PAYE and accordingly we are responsible for the deduction and payment of National Insurance Contributions, Income Tax and Auto-enrolment Pension contributions. Extraman does not supply work to Self-Employed candidates.
AFTER REGISTRATION
We will inform you of all the current opportunities available and also explain how Extraman works, covering when you should call for work, what type of PPE or uniform you may require, your holiday pay entitlement and all other essential information. All candidates will receive a document, ‘Temporary Worker Guidelines', which explains in more detail what we expect of you and what you can expect of us.
A copy of this document will be handed to you at the end of your registration along with a copy of your Terms of Engagement and any forms that are relevant.
You will then receive a 'Welcome to Extraman' email which will have our 'Agency Worker Handbook' attached with further information for you to read through with essential contact information and further details you will need whilst working with Extraman.
