Holiday Pay
A reminder to all of our temps that the amount of holiday pay they have accrued appears each week on our payslips; most importantly, please make requests for holiday pay before Tuesday 5pm to ensure receipt by Friday. Ideally, call us in advance when holiday dates are known so we can record requirements for pay as early as possible.
It is important that all temps take the holidays that they are entitled to in order to ensure they are getting the recommended breaks from the working environment. All workers are entitled to a minimum of 28 days holiday per year, and temps accrue funds for their holidays from the time they start working - the equivalent rate is 12.07% of pay on hours worked unless this is ever enhanced in compliance with the Agency Worker Regulations.
