Tax Records 2014-15
UsefuI Info - Tax Year Ended 5th April 2015
Pay As You Earn (Income Tax) – for the tax year ending 5th April 2015, the threshold you could before could earn before tax was £10,000 per year, and, generally, after that tax is paid at a rate of 20%.
If you have a cumulative tax code (one that has no W1 or X after it), it is likely that you have paid the correct amount of tax. However, if you have the W1 or X suffix, or have or (have had) another job in addition working for us, it is possible that you have overpaid tax (or possibly underpaid).
If you think you have overpaid tax you should contact HMRC, and the phone details are below.
